Travellers to Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Tawau, will have to go to the Inanam Bus Terminal. Taxi from KK to Inanam is RM 20, if one takes a bus at Wawasan Terminal, it will be very much cheaper. From Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Tawau, the bus will stop for 30 minutes at Telupid, a small town in the middle of Sabah, for meal. For those going to Keningau and Tenom, they will have to go to the bus station at KK town padang. On the KK to Tenom trip the express bus would stop over at Keningau for a short break.
